🪪 Regulation and Compliance

Blockpay® is registered under Mexican law and is fully regulated by major Mexican authorities, operating under the license of the biggest transaction processor in LATAM, PROSA®, to lend Point Of Sale (POS) terminals and administrate user’s funds. Our financial activity is supervised and authorized by CNBV (Comisión Nacional Bancaria y de Valores) and the central bank of Mexico, BANXICO (Banco de México). Our financial system adheres to the most stringent security standards to meet regulatory requirements and ensure the safety of user funds. We guarantee interoperability in production between POS devices and Cards following the Magnetic Stripe and EMV standards, as well as interaction with the chapters of the CID (Contrato de Intercambio Doméstico). Additionally, we comply with international security protocols aligned with the PCI SSC (PCI Security Standards Council).
